We’re proud to announce two recently awarded projects at Lincoln Park Zoo and Des Plaines Theatre.
Lincoln Park Zoo Lion House
The first is the installation of a 2 stop holeless hydraulic elevator at the Lincoln Park Zoo Lion House. Manufactured by Canton Elevator, the project is a new installation which will feature non-proprietary control equipment from Smartrise Engineering. As the current elevator maintenance provider for Lincoln Park Zoo, we are excited to continue our long-running relationship with both the zoo and their general contractor Pepper Construction.
Des Plaines Theatre
The second is installation of a new elevator and dumbwaiter at the Des Plaines Theatre. The job will include a 3 stop, 5 opening holeless hydraulic elevator manufactured by MEI and a dumbwaiter manufactured by DA Matot. This installation will also feature non-proprietary control equipment from Smartrise Engineering. Opened in 1926, the Des Plaines Theatre has a long, rich history and is currently being restored by the Des Plaines Public Works Department.
