November 15, 2022 – Colley Elevator Company announced the recent election of Account Manager, Alex Macias, to the slate of Chicago Elevator Association (CEA) officers. Elected as Vice-President for the coming term, Macias will then become eligible for the role of President. Formed in 1911, the CEA is the longest running elevator association in the United States. Member companies include elevator suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, consultants, and inspectors.
Alex has been with Colley Elevator for 7 years and has worked his way up through roles of increasing responsibility. He is an active member of the Illinois Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) as well as the National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC). Macias is actively involved in the NAEC’s NexGen Program, which aims to bridge the gap between future and current elevator industry leaders, and has graduated from the Vertical Transportation Management Program.
