After the town mandated fireman’s recall, this 1960’s elevator had to modernize. Though it generally performed well for being 50+ years old, it was time for other upgrades. As a 60 year old ESCO elevator was starting to show its age, the building owners started to plan for its modernization. This was an important decision as the building has a large senior population and reliability was becoming a concern.
